All we need is for those planes to actually show up... Who knows if Furias or Riff Raff will make it. And now we have Sept pops, Sept Fury, and Big Bossman out of the mix. Not to mention Argo and Dred.... I think the unlimited class is scary for 09...

Lots of panic posts from you about the Unlimiteds. I still say we should all relax. It's still October for pete's sake.

While I can attest the more the merrier, I think i could be content seeing one race a year and it would keep my blood pumping. That said, i will have a huge smile on my face with all the reccomendations noted.

I'll tell you what I know and have seen, and have permission to discuss from the owner Jeff Handley.
Jeff is under the impression that no information out prior to the completion of the first flight is in his best interest. I imagine that if Wayne pulled or deleted anything it was pulled at Jeff's request.

Actually, I'm unaware of any posts on this subject that were deleted. We have one post, somewhere, by one of the principals in whatever is going on here... as far as I know, it's still there.

Maybe he's talking about post number 10. I had asked a question about the Lear Solution in post number 9. FlyKidChris (thank you, by the way!) posted a nice reply with a link to another thread on aafo. This link doesn't seem to be working.

For my vote, what Reno needs in '09 is all of our butts back in the seats! Because of some family connections, I get treated pretty well during that weekend, but so far my favorite year was in '04, watching Bear and Dago battle it out in the nasty, rainy, cold weather, sitting in the new (but not improved, IMHO, bleachers). Rain or shine, I'll be there! What's that post office motto? That's my air race motto, except it ends with "I'll be at The Races!"
