WIKI has a small description of that beast:

The USSR also built a limited number of 'Zvezda' engines with up to 56 cylinders.

The 112-cylinder diesel boat engines featuring 16 rows with 7 banks of cylinders, bore of 160 mm (6.3 in), stroke of 170 mm (6.7 in), and total displacement of 392 liters (23,931 in³). The engine produced 10,000 hp (7,500 kW) at 2,000 rpm.

And it took some effort, but I located a photo. The Zvezda webpage featuring it no longer exists, but I found it via the internet archives. Here's a link to the archived page if interested:

A little searching located a large group of photos of the engine and vehicle construction. That IS a big radial isn't it? Too heavy for aviation?

That is one big motor and they did a nice job with the photo essay. Amazing how dedicated and mechanically talented some people are. Then they finish it off with polished aluminum and contrasting paint. They are like the brain surgeons of the mechanical world.

Who is going to top that one?

Is it the tractor pull guys who are on the cutting edge of putting the biggest and most unusual motors in their machines?
