I took a trip there about 4 years ago. They do have an interesting museum nearby but I believe the "bone yard" is on base and off limits to most people. The museum is almost entirely outside on gravel and looked slightly under funded but still worth a visit. By far the best thing to visit in the region is the Titan Missile Silo.

Bryan they use to have tours for outsiders on certain days @ Davis-Monthan & I think they still do. I went on it a couple years ago & its worth seeing where all our tax money went. The A10 squadron is still active there.

Went there last year....Pima County Air Museum has many fine indoor exhibits as well as outdoor. Here is a link to how you get to see the boneyard.....

The busses take you from the museum across the street and there is a tour guide for the 1 1/2 hour tour. Very worth while.....
