As I remember it....the last time we had the 'Blues' at Reno,.... we got some hot laps around the course by a couple of F/A-18s...
Oh yeah, this is great news... Same year FIFI flew around the course? and with a B-25 and two others in Escort...?
And ya know the ThunderChickens are good, but that NAVY thing, has really got it goin on...( although I will admit that in only one of last year's Reno show, Thursday I think, the Thunderbirds really had a tight, tight formation and maintained it throughout the whole show...)
My Pop was a Navy man so I am biased to the Blue Angels. Saw them at Reno in 1985 and they really tore it up in their A-4 Skyhawks. Must have been runnig turbojets because I remember it being good and loud. Remember, Navy pilots have to trap on carriers, while USAF pilots land on plenty of runway. Not taking anything away from USAF pilots, because they are very good at what they do. Kudos to all military pilots, thank you.
