    So should I have checked. Faulty memory running away from me again! In this 1987 shot look at the panel line at the back of the cowling:



    These Texas shots show the new sheet metal in front of the moved wing, as well as how far the wing was moved. As I recall Bruce Boland was not at all happy with this particular change to the airplane.

      Kiwiracefan -- That was indeed Miami/Homestead (the Race was called by both names as it actually took place at Homestead). Good eye! That is Don Whittington in the original Precious Metal.

        Skip,I think is the only one to have flown Tsunami both before and after the wing shift. It would be cool to hear his thoughts on how it changed the handling.
