I am sure many of you already have seen this...Notice how the airshow narrator stops talking for a second...I am guessing the pilot did that victory roll out of shear relief...Anyone know who the pilot is ?

IIRC, that was Sean Carroll flying one of the Yaks he used to race a few years back. In fact, although he owned the a/c, I believe Dave Morss may have raced that particular bird.

Sean didn't own the airplane in that video. As a matter of fact, he didn't have permission to be flying it at the time. But I reckon sometimes its better to be lucky than good, right?

This was discussed intently when it happened several years back and I would have sworn that the pilot was reported as Dan McCue and not Sean Carroll. No?
