I was there as a kid and took some "kodak instamatic" kid camera pics but I only wanted action shots.

When I developed the film, you could only see dots because the camera had a lens that was like "negative zoom" or something.

Should have taken some pics on the ramp.

I remember the event had quite a few other things going on that attracted kids like a booth or two selling a cox airplane in a blister pack that even included the single D cell glowplug battery.

THANK YOU SULLY FOR YOUR LATEST CONTRIBUTION! GREAT PICS. I WOULD BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL IF SOME OF THESE PICTURES COULD BE E-MAILED TO ME SO THAT I COULD PUT THEM ON A CD FOR MY SON. HIS DAD ORGANIZED THIS RACE AND HE HAS NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT EXCEPT FOR THE PROGRAM WHICH DOES HAVE HIS DAD'S PICTURE.
