The film shows how the Nemesis NXT, a two-seat propeller-driven airplane that can fly as fast as a jet airliner, was built. The aircraft was first flown at the Reno National Championship Air Races in September 2008.
I do not believe the person who wrote the article has anything to do with the film. The "first flown in 2008" was the writers mistake, not the film maker.
This will be a great film. I've known Chris Webb for years, and introduced him to many racers back when he started out several years ago. I've seen some of the raw footage he and his crew have been shooting over the years, and it is good stuff. I'm looking forward to this one...
A rough draft was shown at AirVenture and again at Reno. To me, it is a spectacular film and I have already ordered my copy (well, I'm on an order list).
