that was close its just too little. I did get the trim issue fixed finally today ,it flys hands off at 190. ill try to get some more tomorrow gonna start workin on the fairings.been just flyin w/o them ,so hopefully it will go a little faster.if not im still just googoo about this thing

thanks, were goin out this afternoon to do some more flights, did about an hour this morning.to hot during the day this thing is like a green house. ill try to put more video on after weget back.thanks every body

ive got over 20 hrs on her now and she is doin pretty good.flew this morning for about an hr and goin back as soon as it cool down, its been about 105 the last few days.got more video and some close up shots,will put them on tonight.thanks again all

heres one from yesterday, its funny the better i get it trimmed the slower it gets, but it is easier to fly and alot more fun.still flying twice everyday and lovin it more and more,cant wait till sept.

had my first little bump in the road yesterday, i was flying with the new race prop and after about 12 min it started loosing rpm and finally gave a little (ive had enough) moment, it didnt quit just a roughness, so i pulled the throttle back and it ran fine.it was hot here yesterday is that kinda typical for the engine at race rpm?

As for the engine tightening up after several minutes at full power; that is fairly common and is usually caused by using stock internal engine clearances rather than opening them up a little for racing. The race only lasts about 10 minutes, so unless it is unusually hot at Reno you may be OK.

If you're unsure of the gauges, you can back 'em up with temp indicators. The "crayon" type work ok....

gonna have to help me with the crayon type,dont know what that is,i ran her on the ground today and it ran perfect it must have tightened up.I did open the cylinders a little, guess i need more if im gonna try to run with the big dogs. i wanted a good engine for sport flyn so i didnt do to much,im gonna run a bunch of these sport races with it,they have been a ton of fun with the merlin so im gonna have fun with this thing im sure.
