It would have to be Unlimited, assuming it weighs more than 4500 lbs, because the T-6 has to be unmodified.

12 years in the making, Custom Canopy, we have the jig! Empty weight 4900 lbs, all up weight 6100 lbs
I know we put 100 lbs ballest in the back seat and the landing trim was almost full.

Would be cool to have a "Super T-6" division someday.. NOT to replace the current but to compliment it.. As with the "SuperSport" division....

Thanks for all the great pics of the test flight. Sure would love to hear some more of the history of the "super T-6" project. Many have mentioned the resemblance to Wildfire. My first thoughts went to the Super Corsair, of course minus the gull wing. Please bring the "super T-6" to Reno, if you have T-shirts, I'll buy one!!

Not a T-6 racer or sport class. Prolly not fast enough for unlimited except if those mods get it faster than an F4F.
But what an extremely super-cool cross country sport plane!

Great job. It looks like the cowling & spinner is painted like "Big Beaufiful Doll" P51. Would be nice to see @ Reno even on display.
