Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

Thanks again for your patience,

    Re: First time at Reno

My advice would be to decide if you want to go somewhere to see the sights, do it BEFORE you ever set foot on Stead. Once you're in you'll never leave, except to sleep, nor will you want to.
I've been going to the races for ages, usually for ten or eleven days, and have never seen Tahoe
I hear it's lovely but I don't care. Every year we say "we should go to .....", and every year we get off the airplane and run straight to Stead. Just can't help it.
Leave room in your suitcase as you'll be buying lots of tshirts and hats to support your favourite teams, and start saving for next year because you WILL be coming back

    cheers,
    Rachel

      Ain't that the truth Rachel!!!

Every year I want to take time to go to Virginia City or other places of interest since I'm up there for the duration. Every night up there I think that maybe tomarrow is the day I will go sight seeing. Never happens. I wake to the thought of race planes and haul ass to the airport so I don't miss something. If I want to see something outside of Stead I have to do it some time other then September or June.
