If no one can bring one we can set up a donation spot like the NAG office in the pits and people can donate 5 to 10 bucks Wed to Friday. Then someone can go to Costco and pick one up. If there is a contact person at the church we can donate it to the church and then use it the following years.

I do have a small table top propane camp BBQ. It will do a dozen or so dog at a time. I can bring that. A couple more of those and we’re there.

Unless a huge miricle happens in the next couple of weeks. I will not be at the races this year.... sniff.

Long story short.. the plastics industry took a dump with the economy.

I will be there in spirit... and look forward to next year.

I'll get some dogs and buns once we're on site. It'll be easier then since we'll have a head count. Having Scolari's just a few miles away makes things easy-peasy!

There was about $160. left in the cash bag last year after paying for Bluffman's and Bob's expenses.. We'd intended to keep that in the kitty for this year's BBQ but with the economy downturn, so too did the income to this site take a huge dump and over the course of the year, the kitty was empty more than once and my out of pocket to keep the site going has almost killed me a couple times..

That said, I think if we keep this simple, keep it to hot dogs and standard BBQ fare, we probably can take up a minimal collection here, prior to the event, via the pay pal links here and there on the site and make this work without anyone going broke.

I know many of us are hurting due to the economy downturn so IMHO, keeping it simple (read cheap) is gonna be the best way to have fun and make it happen...

BTW.. you guys are the best!!

Hot dogs and cheap beer taste as good as Filet Mignon when the venue is Reno and the company is from this board.

We'll get by just fine.

I can bring a BBQ. Last year's BBQ was one of the highlights of my return to the races after several years. Looking forward to seeing everyone from last year and meeting more race fans this year

Awesome folks, it's great to see everyone making this happen. We will be three (my son, my brother and me). This is my brothers second time, his first was 1989. So he will have a ball meeting everyone. Thanks again to all making this happen.

I've been going to Reno since 03 but have not been to a BBQ. I can donate $. Either at the NAG shack or online.
