Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

Well, things are going to happen in rapid succession now... I'm going to do a final database backup at 2:30PM CST today. After the vBulletin team gets it - the new site should be operational "with all posts" soon thereafter. Then following a series of checks, and if all goes well, I'll post a link to the new forums here soon.

Thanks for your patience,

    Re: FSX Virtual Air Racing

Its to bad that your not doing any FSX Racing because you probly just lost quite a crowd. I came on this website today or the westcoast ATC site to get a better look at the racing style then it hit me FS2004 Only that made me very sad. But if you ever get an FSX racing up please e-mail me I would be so interested in joining and having a team!

At Reno Gary said he was thinking about an FSX group, but I haven't heard anything else. Gary?

So it seems like there's some interest in this again for FSX! I hosted a session awhile back and I was the only one flying around so I kinda gave it up. If there's some real interest out there, lets talk about doing it again!

I would be into it, but I have x-plane.

I do have their version of stead with all th ebells and whistles, even have alot of race planes.

                Bob,

Can you elaborate a little more about X-plane and races? I'm interested as there is a Mac OS/Apple version of X-plane. I'd appreciate any links that you can provide.

                Blue skies,

                  Re: FSX Virtual Air Racing

Well xplane has alot of planes and very good scenery, some like it better than the fsx. Its still being updated monthly and if you believe what you read, its a better flight sim than fsx.
Tons of high quality and free scenery, planes and objects.

There is a man on the forums who tries to get races organized, but never gets anyone to commit.
Its also Mac, PC and Linux compatible

                    Re: FSX Virtual Air Racing

There are a few of us(5-6) still racing weekly with FS9 and we are hoping to get enough guys updated to try a FSX series.

Most likely won't happen right away but hoping to try soon!

Can't wait til next year and we get to see what Jimmy had left for Sunday......Heehee!
