Mrs. Race 29 Mk II came with two great little girls. The Merced airshow was their first. Thanks to the kindness of Randy Goss, Warlock is now they're favorite airplane! They can't wait for Reno, it's fun to introduce them the aviation world.

Air fields are GREAT places to take even the youngest, my Dad started us in the late 1950's. . . it's how you teach and develop a love of something. One only fears what one is ignorant of.
And now there are great ear plugs for the little ones so they may be able to hear when they are old, unlike me

Checkout www.fantasyofflight.com (Great book-"All of Life is a School", and accompanying hats and t-shirts for kidsl ) also duggy.com both have cool stuff for kids, we have given several kids the above named book and gear and the LOVE it-they have "girl" color airplane stuff too which is hard to find beyond RARA sometimes Just FYI

My little girl will be here in a week or two.... I'm still going. Does that make be a bad parent or a die hard race fan??? J/k.

But the wife is totally jealous. She hates missing a day of racing. I'm sure she will make it next year though. We will have to see how a 1 year old does at the races. Might have to bring the motorhome.

Well....I am glad to hear about all those going to the races with their children . There might be a slim chance that I could possibly go. I can tell you if you are even thinking about driving to the races you are no where near as far away as I have to travel. The only way it could be a farther drive is if I lived down where Race9 is but I am only about three hours from there.

I can tell you what is not going to happen. I am not about to drive across the country with the wife and newborn and I would rather do that than try to fly commercial with said entourage.

It would be nice if the wife liked the races but she traveled out there last year and didn't spend a day at the races so I am not quite so flexable.

Anyway I hope to go and see you all there if not don't have fun without me.

We have A new arrival as well. Her due date was September 6th....she was born July 17th. After 2 weeks in the N.I.C.U. she is home and doing great.
I hope to make the races this year with the boys. This will be my 6 year olds first year at the races.

BTW.....Voodoo is going to win this year just like Strega did last year. (Just making my post on topic)

Have you checked out the Fernley road course track..I hear it's pretty cool... a Friend of mine rides bikes down there....I hear thier bringing in more and more cars...

I just wanted to clarify the location of Miller Motorsports Park. It is actually near Tooele, UT which is Southwest of Salt Lake City. I haven't been to MMP..... yet, but I have been to Tooele, UT.
Good news on VooDoo! That purple Mustang is SLICK!

It's not a group. One of the guys who did the canopy metalwork/conversion this year posted that picture from a recent run.
