That is something we're discussing. There may be some cooperative effort between us. We should be able to report new details this week.

This is a good thing! Coverage is coverage... Comparing the Reno event to NASCAR is not apples to apples. NASCAR was commercially successful by being in many cities at the right price. for a long time their only coverage was 30sec on Wide World Of Sports. Reno has great pricing for the event, but it will cost me more than $1000 to travel/stay/rent a car/eat for the event. The expense in coverage is the size of the "track" (cabling to... I'd estimate 10-15 cameras over miles of desert) and the logistics of people to operate all the equipment. (lodging for a week+ for lots of workers/food/water/transportation) The company I worked for prior to re-retiring did the Reno rodeo. We had 7 camera operators and 10 tech staff for that vastly smaller event. Anyhow this is a good thing. Many of my friends who cannot afford to travel to attend are going to get the feed instead. As long as they spell the name right, its good.

PS Jeff, if you need a standby shader/engineer/camera operator I'm available at very reasonable rates...

        Jerry,

You hit the nail on the head, and explained it as well as anyone. It IS a massive undertaking at any level. We won't have as many cameras as you're described, but the viewers will certainly know what's happening, who's winning, and where the battles are on the course.

There have been many productions that go on out there, but nothing that was live. As we've said in our publicity, this is the first step in a bigger picture. The productions we've done at air shows this year, have already gotten rave reviews from aviation fans. We will bring our combined television experience to Reno, and give the viewers a first class broadcast.

Thanks for your offer to assist. I'll contact you directly about that.

Help us spread the word, so that those who can't make it can still watch what's happening, as it happens.

        Jeff
