The Travis Air Museum is hosting "Mustang Days Wings and Wheels" this weekend (Sep 5) at the Nut Tree Airport in Vacaville, CA. Local radio here this afternoon interviewed Bud Anderson and mentioned there are now 15 P-51s confirmed plus a P-40 and several Sea Furies. Nice chance to get a quick fix and raise the anticipation for Reno just a little bit more. http://www.travisairmuseum.org/html/mustang.html

We're headed to Sequoia National Park for a 5-day camping weekend, or else I'd load the whole family up for that one.

Getting a Merlin fix two weeks before the Big Show would be really, really cool!

It was a good show, a pair of P40s made a showing, Sparky, Merlins Magic, Speedball Alice, Lady Jo, Strawboss 2, Kimberly Kaye, and Red Dog XII were all there. Apparently VooDoo made a few passes and then went back home. My camera is incapable of shooting prop blur without massively overexposing the image.

How do I post pics in a larger format?

I'll post some pics when I get them resized.
