Goin' Crazy!!!

I am sitting down here in South Louisiana counting down the days until the races!!! (this will be our 3rd annual trek up) It is 8 long days until the trip & I find myself having a hard time concentrating on work. I know all of the race crews are working their butts off & want them to know that the hard work is not taken for granted! Looking forward to seeing everyone up there; you will recognize me by the one with the big ass grin on my face!!! Wishing everyone the best this year!!!

A true Cajun is crazy. They don't go crazy. They are born that way.
That's why they call 'em Crazy Cajuns. Now relax and have another Dixie.
I'm not going crazy and I'm not dying to get there...yet.
But I will be! I can tell because I won't sleep at night. That's my first sign.
I'm flyin' and not driving. So that's a load off.

So if I get up at 7:00am and get my cup of coffee and then log on to airraces.org and watch the clock (6 days, 22 hours, 45 minutes, 49 seconds.) tick down until lunch....do I have the disease????

Last year I had to leave work early(Thursday) so I could listen to the podcast. Just couldn't function or keep my mind on work.

Boss asked, "Are you sick?"

I replied, "Yeah, with AirRace FEVER! See ya next week!"

As I've stated before, my husband said “everyone should see the Reno Air Races Once” that was in 1983. I’ve been dragging him back every year since. (Yes we were sitting in the stands even in ‘01) It’s not just an addiction! It’s a whole lifestyle haha. How can you tell and Air race life-er? In their quiet little conservative mundane home . . . they have a Mustang piston clock on the living room mantel and framed “Going For The Gold” dominates the room ROFL.

I recently moved and now have 2 work areas side by side. One for production, one for training and program testing. Since I seem to get 2-3 new pictures signed every year, I needed the wallspace!
It keeps me in the mood year-round...
