I know everyone is all hyped about next week, but the Capitol Airshow is happening this weekend in Sacramento.

Got out today to watch a little bit of practice, and took a few pics.

It's funny I think the A10 WARTHOG is now retired but then I see a Mustang and a Lightning and think retired my "eye"?
Big money and mechanics are cool people. It's what keeps 'em flying!

Had there also been warbird displays today in addition to the memorial flight?
I'll visit the airshow tomorrow on my way to Reno and I'm looking forward to see some nice warbird flying displays

I had been there today, but except of the heritage flight with the P51D (very nice!!) there had been no WW2-warbird activity in the air like announced (Warbird flybys).
