    Return of the Denigh Special D.D.T.



    Just out of restoration by Ed Fisher for the Labor Day Air Show in Cleveland.

    Restored by Ed Fisher of Lexington, S.C. for the Society of Air Racing Historians.

    Ownership transfered to Cook Cleland Airport Incorp. (a non-profit museum out of Corpus Christi, TX) for display.

    60th aniversery of her 1st race-1949 Goodyear
    40th anversery of her last race in Cleveland (at the Air Show at Burke)

        I love that airplane, but I sure would've painted it in it's Roy Berry bronze and cream scheme for which it was so famous. Anyone have an Aurora RTF plastic flying model of it in the bronze?

          We decided to bring her back to as close as we could to her origional condition when she first appeared in the 1949 Goodyear races here in Cleveland.

          Most was missing and we had only a few photographs to go by.

          If any one would have photos of her during her 20 year racing life (1949 thru 1969) we wold love to obtain copies/scans of them for our display.

            Nice job, Kenn. I will have to go through all of my stuff and see what published photo bibliography I can come up with.
