    Re: High G Ridge Club?

Very unique perspective. The mountains are all in the wrong places!

Very nice pics. the Pic of Rapid Travel is pretty cool, At first I couldnt figure out which mustang that was....

I am pleased that RARA is thinking outside the box, but I think there is room for improvement in the location...

Thanks for all the info everyone! Finally RARA is thinking outside the box. I still wish they would offer "premium" seats anywhere inside the course. I would pay a "premium" for that! I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that, btw.

RARA is indeed trying to think outside the 'box', but everything has to be submitted to the FAA for approval. And I agree with the inside the course seating...it's the best view in the house, not to mention the brain and ear pleasing sounds...

I think Smoot will be very interested in the underside shot of Czech Mate, I see some separation issues going on...............

T-dub, I was noticing the same thing on race 86. I would like to find out what that is and what's causing it. Sean, great photos.

It's definitely the flaps, the question is, were they doing that around the whole course? If so, than at 460-70 that makes Smoot one HELL of a stick!!! HOLY CRAP!

Kinda funny, he gets the gear to stay up, now the flaps hang down.

Chech Mate was having flap issues during the Saturday heat race as seen in the photo and it also showed in his slower speed. Matt Jackson was in the Voodoo pit after talking about how wild it looked flying behind him, he said when Smoot would roll into the turns he could see him fighting the plane. They ended up bolting the flaps up for the Sunday race and he used runway 14 to land on after to utilize its longer length.
