Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

      Tim, talk about right place, right time. That first shot is freaking cool... looks like Steven might have been giving Strega a little pep talk just before going out on a flight... at least that's the feeling I get.

          Yes, that is Jane. But that is a temporary tattoo. We were giving them away in the Strega pits. She is just too cute!

              FRIDAY ARRIVALS.... (L to R) #1) Dave Morss and the P-51a "Polar Bear" were the first to arrive Fri. morning. #2) Stu Dawson taxis in "Spirit of Texas" late Fri. morning. Unfortunately after qualifying, SoT's engine was trashed putting her out for this year. Ray Dieckman was kind enough to let Stu race "Sawbones" on Thurs. though. #3) Will Whiteside is all smiles after arriving in "Voodoo". #4) Nelson Ezell and Howard Pardue arrived together and upon landing, Nelson overran Howard on the runway! #5) John Parker taxis in "Blue Thunder II" after another test flight. #6) Mike Keenum arrives in "Riff Raff".

                FRIDAY ARRIVALS cont. (L to R)#7) Don "Bucky" Dawson gets another great shot of "Riff Raff" as "Hoot" Gibson looks on. #8) "Hoot" and Mike go over a few things after Mike's arrival. #9) Tom Camp and his FM-2 "Air Bisquit". #10) Bill Kerchenfaut gets "into" his work with "Voodoo". #11) Two of the greatest crew chiefs to ever grace Reno, Dave Cornell and Bill Kerchenfaut, chat with each other on the ramp. #12) The force from Texas sits on the ramp before being towed to their pit areas.
