Dan Plunkett - "hiredbitslinger"

An avid photographer, and air race enthusiast, passed away last December '08. He was "hiredbitslinger" on this discussion group (a retired software engineer)

We had endless stuff to talk about, from photography, to air racing, car racing, all things technical as well as political. Shortly after I first met him (in '06) based on our extensive conversations and immediate friendship, someone in our seating group asked if we had known each other before!

His passing reminds me to better appreciate the people and things I have, today. He will be missed by me and by our group. God Bless You, Dan.

That is a damn shame. In another life my uncle broke his foot, probably around 1971. Maybe they will bump into each other in the hereafter.
