Who else saw that character walking around Sunday in the "utili-kilt"?


As a past member of three Colorado pipe bands, take it from me: If it ain't a tartan, it ain't a kilt! It's just a man-skirt, if you'll pardon the oxymoron. (Only exceptions: Irish kilts in forest green, saffron or Kelly green.)

Put me in the mind to wear my Scottish National to Section 3 next year. Any guesses as to what should be worn underneath it at such an event?

Section 3? Nothing, of course!
There used to be a guy that would march through the campground in full dress playing his pipes in the evenings.
My father in law was pipe and drums (Shriner) and wanted to march with him but always seemed to either miss him or forget his pipes!

You must be talking about Bigbird. Serious old school section three guy. He wears the skirt on sundays

He has these plactic eye things (think of a plastic spoon without the handle) that makes his eyes look all bug eyed and blood shot. He would where them ALL DAY LONG back when he was younger. He is a good guy.
