Who bought the 1929 Hamilton Metalplane

Any know who just bought the 1929 Hamilton Metalplane H-47 serial number 65? It was on the auction block Saturday at the Barrett-Jackson collector automobile auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr Lewis bought the Ford Tri Motor their last year and I was just wondering if he added this to his collection.

Actually it was Ron Pratt who bought the Tri-motor. He also bought the Metalplane.

Oops, got it wrong. Ron Pratt did not buy the Metalplane. It is going to the Fantasy of Flight Museum.

I think the going price was $671K? They showed it running up but no flight shots.

So I guess kermit Weeks bought it. He always said he want one of every airplane in his collection, he's doing it.

Oops, got it wrong. Ron Pratt did not buy the Metalplane. It is going to the Fantasy of Flight Museum.

You sure it's going to the Fantasy of Flight? Pratte keeps the Trimotor, Super Corsair, P51 in AZ.

A Mr. Howard Wright III of Seattle Wa. won the bid on the 1929 Hamilton Metalplane at the Barrett Jackson auction.
