    Re: Sad news

As a wanna be photographer I was often given special access to the roof top of the Warlock trailer and even allowed to hang out in the pits with the Warlock gang from time to time. Al was always ready with a smile, a handshake and a bottle of whatever for all of us looky-loos making us feel like we belonged. And lets not even bring up the world renound Wednesday night "Warlock Pit Party."
Al Goss and Warlock will forever be missed from the pits of RENO.

I am just as shocked as all of you, I've lost my Dad/best friend, and another really good friend.

Please keep the Goss family and Warlock Crew in your prayers, and God bless you all. Randy Goss

        Re: Sad news

This is truly terrible. I first met Al and family 28 and a half years ago, and have cheered him on ever since...

Our thoughts and prayers too, go out to the family and all affected by this.

        Blue skies forever, Al.

I did not really know Al but the little that I knew him, made my life better and I know his existence made the world better. I am devastated that he is gone.

Randy, I don't know what to say. Al, family, friends, will all be in my prayers.

I did not personally know Mr. Goss or family but their place at Reno is one of the reasons I come to the races year after year. My deepest condolences to the family from those of us who you have not met. You have added something special to us as well.

                    Re: Sad news

I'm in the same boat as 500RL. I don't know any of the Goss family. However, their contribution to the Air Races has greatly improved my experience. It is well known that the fun pit is the Warlock pit, and the whole team is a fan favorite.

Randy, please know that even us everyday, no name, no face race fans will miss Al and our hearts are breaking for you.

Blue skies Al. You'll be missed.
