We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

    Re: Get Well, Baby Goss...

Randy saw a cardiologist and the news wasn't good. He is going to need open heart surgery to replace the heart valve that was damaged by the infection that also caused the stroke. Probably within the next 2 weeks. Emotionally this is a big hit, especially since it means he most likely won't make Reno. Please keep prayers coming

Thanks Victor, Kenny & everyone else for kindly keeping us all updated on Randy's condition. Personal health issues are obviously the biggest priority over all else, and glad to know our buddy is in the good hands of expert medical staff to help him regain his physical strength at this critical time in his life. We're all gonna keep our prayers & wishes going for Randy & know we'll all be missing him & thinking of him at Reno 2010.

Be strong Randy & fight back hard against those health gremlins - we're all prayin' & pullin' for you, man! We all love you & have you in our hearts. You're a champ & we know you can & will beat this.

GOD BLESS & WATCH OVER YOU!

Maybe I am a glass is half full kind of woman but the news from the cardiologist is not bad news in my humble opinion. It pegs what the cause of the stroke was, comes up with a strategy to get his ticker back as close to 100% as it can be. Plus the cardio rehab will dovetail nicely with the stroke rehab and, Randy, you will be the fittest you have been in years! I think the valve replacement will also eliminate the recurring pneumonia since a weak heart cannot keep the blood flowing well to those lungs that need healing. This is going to be one of those "you never know when your bad luck is your good luck stories"! Reno 2011 had better be ready for the stronger, fitter Randy Goss...ladies beware!

Randy's test today showed more damage to his heart than they originally
thought so he is being transferred tonight to Mercy in Sacramento and
will be having open heart surgery tomorrow morning (no time is set yet).

                Sandra,
I am holding YOU in my heart. Randy knows he has a spot forever there in my heart with your darling Dad. Let's keep an open heart for the time being...don't surrender to the fear...because, as you know, love is all there is!

A lot of this is going to be in "Baby's" hands... If that man does not want to stay here and wants to be with his dad... that's where he's going to go and nothing we feel in our hearts will change that...

Love you Randy, you were always there for me when I needed you, you've been a good and loyal friend. We're all here for you, and we're all going to always be here for you, forever....

Victor.. if you get a chance, will you whisper in Randy's ear that Linda and I love him....

                    TIA...

Ok, an open heart surgery IS THE surgery, nevertheless, let me tell you I had an open heart surgery in 1995. They took my heart outside and changed the broken mitral valve. And I was surprised how far the surgeries have gone. I had a faily nice and quite fast recovery.

So, I´m confident that Randy will cross through this turbulent river.

And get well soon Randy Goss, I see many good people is praying and loves you.

Randy's angiogram went well. The good news is the valve is the only
problem. The rest of his heart looks good. We got bumped from the
schedule for tomorrow so now we're looking at Sunday or Monday for
surgery. His spirits are good. Keep those prayers coming - Sandra Goss Mayeux

Randy is out of surgery and in recovery! They replaced one valve and had to fix another one that had some damage. He will be in icu for a couple days.
