Actually it flew quite similar. The empty weight was around 1300 lbs, Relentless is 1750lbs. I never took it past 200 during testing but considering I am sporting 850 lbs of torque with the 720, and that is before I apply a little "love", I think they are not going to spend much time watching my line...

I saw a sweet NXT during PRS tucked away in a hangar at Stead. I wonder who it belongs to. I don't want to post any pics but she looked awesome.

Any news regarding Jon racing this year? Last mentioned on here was 50/50 chance and something about engine sponsorship. It would be awsome to see several NXTs rounding the course.

Jon and Patricia Sharp elevated Sport Class Racing to a level above the 'backyard' mechanic/racer to a level approaching the 'professional racer'. Of course, this can generate annimosity from the other racers who do not have the sponsorship or the organization to generate the financial support that the NXT Team did. At times it may have appeared like a 'David versus Goliath' struggle. But yet, like David, what is sweeter than to knock down the Giant?? To be the best, you must beat the best, and, like life, the playing field is not always fair, but the challenge and reward of winning makes it all worth while.
