Well race fans it’s time to get things planed and moving toward having a GREAT BBQ this year. I have some things for the raffle and some more promised donations.

Russ, can you bring your BBQ again? Do we need two?

What do we want for meat this year? Wayne I will NOT bring those fire dogs again. I don’t want you tearing up again.

Who can bring what for food, snacks, paper plates, utensils…ect?

I think I can bring a table.
Let’s make this bigger and better than ever!!!!!

Maybe this year someone could come up with a banner? It doesn't even have to be a custom made AAFO banner - just borrow one of the "Welcome Air Race Fans" banners or a big Miller banner and let everyone know what to look for.
(Maybe someone with a lift truck could "borrow" that huge banner of the Bear on the back of the grandstands that I've coveted for the last few years...)

It has been stuck!

It is too early for me to tell if I will be there this year or not. *BUT* things are in the works, and I have plans to be in Reno for the air races.

If plans work out I will bring something.

Depending on date and time, I certainly plan on swinging by to join in. Doing the motor-home thing again this year, camping in the judges area just west of RARA hangar. Thursday evening is generally when all us judges gather for a sponsor dinner in the Breitling tent so that evening would be tough.

If I can make it, I'll gladly contribute to the provisioning but at a minimum, I'll contribute $$$ to help out.

Okay....been a ..."lurking(?)" member since long time. NOW..I'm in Fernley, working in Verdi..& WILL...do "Santa Maria Style" ( God I hate that description, as it's just BBQ to me) TRI-TIP & BEANS BBQ. You gotta let me know when. If that's too big a production, okay....but all I needs is a decent pit, ( beans will be done ahead )...if you want to make sandwiches, that's cool too...bread, salsa, beans & beer...'tis done.

Ball, or meat that is ...is in yer court. I was going to motorome it...but work & "prices" won't allow. Will volunteer/donate sleeping / accomodations if anyone wants to float most of the tariff. Fully self-contained 31' Southwind, genset,etc,etc. Call for details...mostly be yerz.

Not 100% on this but believe we could "Make a Donation" by clicking the link in the header and identifying it as BBQ? Wayne?

It's early yet here on a beautiful Sunday AM and I've not yet finished the first Cup-a-Joe so I may be off the mark. If not, maybe a thought?

I'm in for a donation at a minimum and certainly will swing by if things work out.
