Sad news from Jerry Beck

I will not be attending the Reno Air races this year. I have many reasons for this choice right now.

Mostly I am suffering through a personal hardship (ironically not involving money..) which simply prevents me form going.

I am missing you all terribly and will be back next year for sure. (Assuming RARA and you all will have me.)

I was a co-sponsor for the coin this year. Erv, if you get this, please pass mine out for me. I know you will choose wisely. (I have 1 or 2 I'd like to get out in particular if you could E-mail me please!)

I hope everyone flies safe and takes some great photographs!

You people are my family as much as any other, and I am blessed with such great friends, I am saddened to tears not to be able to share the races this year.

I worked long and hard on my joke for this year, and here it is:
Q: What do you call a cow that has just given birth?

A: De-calfinated!

I will gladly eat at Louie's for you.. Practicly grew up eating there as a kid.. not been there in years.
