Dave Sterling, Race 8

Last year's Sport class champion, Dave Sterling, qualified second fastest this year at nearly 346. However, I don't see him or his Legacy listed in any of the heats, does anyone know why?

Overspeed, not as dramatic as Relentless. On the ground and grounded until motor and prop are removed and checked out. GP-5, Race 8 and Relentless Maydays within 20 minutes. Bad day for Sports and SuperSports

Thanks for the update on Dave. I just talked to him in the crewroom last month and he was excited to be back to try for another victory. Too bad about the overspeed.
