Hi all those out there on the ramp at Stead...
I just checked the RARA website and noticed that in todays Unl Gold heat that the buick did not start.. what happened to her?

Hey Kiwi... I listened to the race on the live feed... race 8 took off with the others and came back early to land.. It sounded like it was running.. There was no initial info on the reason... I sure that those that are there will have an update...

she was loosing oil pressure on form up and pulled out.

Hope it's somthing simple. It's hard to imagine a gold race without #8.

I hope it is simple. We all ready have one F7F Tigercat bumping into the Gold, we could have two. If the buick is done, then we would have no Seafuries in the gold since...1983?

We noticed a couple hiccups and puffs of smoke as she climbed out from take off...not sure if that was part of the issue or not...

Dreadnaught returned to land shortly after takeoff. Matt Jackson escorted it back and an uneventful landing. Landed with power on and engine was shutdown on the runway.

Well if you listen to the announcers long enough, I'm sure you will hear that a last minute R2800 swap was done in RRIII and the Bear has an inline...

That wasn't even the Sanders' engine...that was the 'borrowed' 4360 from Chuck Greenhill's Furias project.

As I was leaving Monday morning, a truck pulling a flat bed trailer had a radial on it.........looked to be new/overhauled...but I think it was twin row......not sure, didn't get a good look...might have been a 4360.
