What's the story on Voodoo in today's Heat 3A? The results show it made 4 laps and DNF'd. Strega won at 473 and Rare Bear was 2nd at 447.

No apparent issues externally. Seems to have just shut off. Team is investigating.

Induction problem, fixable and she will be racing tomorrow.

When I left, they were still investigating the root cause. It does not appear to be any major problem externally. All telemetry was good the entire flight with no indication of problems.

I'll report when I get back to the pits later. The pit camera is still running, so check the other thread for visual updates.

Voodoo looked to be dumping fluids on Mayday Final.

Pit source says Induction Plenum...failure...came apart...

Just got back from pits...
Voodoo crew thrashing wrenches....pulled new cylinder and head assembly out of trailer...looks like an all nighter

Stevo wrenching on his engine... what a kid! Tom Camp seen advising....

You should have seen it.... four crew, Camp, Stevo, and two old hands... standing on the service stands...wrenching, whilst singing along with Elvis Music.....Priceless...>!

Can't wait to pull this stuff off my cell phone camera....

Voodoo replacing pistons on right bank..... at 1130 PM Sat night.

From earlier.....Unsubstantiatied report of intake system failure resulting in induction of parts/debris into engine...

Only damage was a valve that broke. The pistons were changed because they match the new bank.
