I'd be upset if it weren't for the fact that it was the PILOTS who called the race. If they don't feel safe, then I'm all for their decision. THEY'RE the pros.
It's not my desire to see people hurt and/or aircraft broken. True, the "old school" boys would have probably chosen to fly, but I dang-near saw a lot of close calls in them-thar' days tew!
No postponed race, I would imagine because of cost reasons and logistics difficulties to hold the event for one more day, and their insurance and FAA waivers most likely don't go beyond Sunday either.
