Thanks for posting this. I didn't get to go this year like I had hoped. But with the wind on Sunday I'm kinda glad I didn't spend the money now.

Hopefully next year will be really spectacular.

De Camera, that is a cool scan,
Its interesting to see GG with out a turtle deck, but at least its got a little more room than after Cliff Cummins remodelled the canopy. i remember reading somewhere that the pilot could barely fit in wearing a cloth helmet..

While I understand the purpose behind the turtle deck mods on Strega, Voodoo and Dago, aesthetically, I think they look awful. I really like the look of the canopy on GG.

Oh boy, you could not be more wrong. The finest looking airplane on the planet is a Mustang that has been fully chopped up for racing. Give me a turtle deck every day, please!!

Now what good would this shot be if it was a normal canopy. Turtles are your friends
