In the interest of keeping this ON TOPIC.. I'm going to "split thread" here... a bit of a time consuming process but, I'll leave the thread, as it pertains to RENO... and move the parts of it that do not, down to another forum so that it can continue there for those who wish to partake..
As I'm doing this, I'll add my $.02.... yes, as a country, we have some black marks on our past... what we did to the American Indians in some instances was nothing less than terrible...
However, drawing any comparison between how we treated our prisoners during WWII and how the axis treated theirs.. well... I think that would be completely unfair and a gross misinterpretation of historic facts.
OK... off to the daunting task of splitting threads....
