F-15 over Danville

Did anyoe see the F-15 over San Ramon and Danville about 8:15? Did someone violate the POTUS TFR?

Not to go further off-topic...but...one of those great moments as a plane watcher, I was sitting in my back yard a few days after 9-11. At the time I lived in Vacaville about 10 miles from Travis AFB. There was NO air traffic yet except an ocasional military plane (saw Hawkeyes WAY up there). They had alert F-16's at Travis, and two of them took off. They were still fairly low (a few thousand feet) when they went over and had the AB going as there was a HUGE flare out the back, it was just getting dark. They headed west, towrds the coast and accelerated past supersonic as they went over the Vaca mountains, the boom was incredible! Always wondered what caused such a rush.

I heard it over Walnut Creek but didn't see it.

I was traveling to Syracuse a lot after 9-11 and the ANG base there was (and is) an alert base. Saw F-16's scramble with full burner a couple times. As I recall, one of those was to intercept the shoe bomber. I think that was the last time I didn't have to take my shoes off to get on an airplane.

I saw it pass through a break in the clouds, in AB, right in front of the moon.

Obama leaving SFO
As I saw two fighter aircraft high over-head prior to his arrival around
3 PM the day before.
I assume there is a an escort....but I'm thinking F-18E's from Lemoore NAS.

Noisy clouds
When I was real little we lived off one end of Ontario airport. At that time (VERY early 60's) it was not uncommon to get "boomed" when they were testing things out there. They used to call it "The sound of Freedom" every time they came out to replace our big picture window!

That had to be one puckered spam can driver to look out on the wing and see that fighter! Not the time to make any sudden moves.

Yeah it was in support of Ob(s)ama's entourage of personnel visiting the Democratic Elite in the Bay Area last week.
My wife and I heard...I think Thursday night, at least 50 additional jet transports more than usual, outbound out of SFO and Oakland, overfly our Martinez home....

An unbelievable amount of air traffic...

I kept thinking....that one's got Pelosi...that one's got George Miller....that one's got Babs Boxer....etc....

And since then, I have heard just a couple of fighter jet type engines....of course you can tell the difference, fly over our area like the Mothball Fleet and the Sacto River.... Still probably in support of the Salamander in Chief.
And I hear Mrs Salamander in Chief is visiting the bay area today.....Great!
