Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

    Pics of Yak-11 "NightWitch"?

    Looking for pictures of Holbrook Maslen's modified Yak-11 racer for a modelling project. Any and all help much appreciated.

    PS - This was the airplane done up in the red/white scheme similar to the Super Corsair.

      IIRC they had an off-airport landing shortly after the races. I've always wondered about the extent of the damage and whether or not it was repaired. Does anyone have info?

        I think there were photos either on this site or on Kallio\'s site of it being hauled off on the back of a flatbed. It was dust covered and there was damage...but I\'ve certainly seen worse brought back to life.

                    Thank you to all who posted and two very big thumbs up to Stevo for sharing his outstanding pictures. Should be able to get the job done satisfactorily with these.
