OK... the field is 5000 asl the east end is higher than the west end Pylon 2 is the highest there is, the hardest to see is #3 there is a wind sock between 3 & 4 and a low area that you can hide in and not be busted for low flying the last 2 to are the hardest due to the bank angles.

Man, how I would love to have seen the face on that guy on the wave runner when he got passed by a P-51! His friends will never believe his story (heh-heh).

I'm putting my money on Lake Berryessa just west of Yolo County airport where Voodoo is based.

Looking at google maps, and from what I remember of our course, I'm pretty sure it's Lake Berryessa. We flew out to the coast (where it was fogged in), and I think we flew over Clear Lake on the way out and Berryessa on the way back. It sure would have been a sight to see from the boat, esp. if they saw us coming. Something like that would definitely make my weekend!
