Not a complete answer, but Scaled Composites is an LLC with Rutan listed as Founder, Chief Technical Officer & Designer Emeritus

Northrop Grumman owns Scaled Composites. They went from 40% to 100% in 2007.

Hey Guys

In case it clears anything up. We at Scaled Composites are owned by Northrop, and yes Burt is retiring (though we are all curious to see exactly what that means for a guy like Burt). At the moment Burt is as active as I have ever seen him here at Scaled and I find it hard to believe that he could walk away from this place, though I am sure Idaho is as good an excuse as any. I am confident that regardless of Burt's involvment in the company Scaled will continue to be the place to be to put the "fun" in aerospace. If it wasn't most of us wouldn't put up with mojave.
