They sitting in a hanger someplace collecting dust, or did they get put back to stock, or are they still on her?

The span cant be too much longer than the wing being rebuilt. Though Im sure it is a lot wider.

From what I understand, the clipped wings made the plane (232) slower. Now, yes, the slower wing might be faster than what was on there before, but the real question is would it be faster on the smaller airframe than the full sized wing on the same airframe? The other question that comes to mind is would it be faster through the turns? I'm just tossing ideas out there, whether or not any of them are even a distant good idea or not I don't know.

Well I can't see a clipped wing slowing anything down in a straight line. The turns is where is will show.
