Large FB WW2 Photo Collections

My friend Thor, emailed me the following FB links to two very large WW2 aviation photo collections. There were many familiar photos running a huge gamut of subjects, but I have to admit I ran across a substantial number of excellent shots I'd never seen before. Check 'em out:

Is the orange plane a B-17? Did Boeing do that or was it an aftermarket idea?

In answer to your question: that's a-'negative' on your photo ID spotting report - that's not a B-17, but rather a captured example of the WW2 Japanese 4-engined Nakajima G8N "Rita" bomber.

You know, come to think of it, seeing that photo of it kinda reminded me a little bit of the Consolidated B-32 'Dominator' 4-engined bomber powered by R-3350s. The 2nd XB-32 actually used a B-29 tail unit during that U.S. WW2 bomber's interesting development phase & service career.
