Re: High Rollers RF-4's rockin' the WORLD !!!

In years past, I've been buzzed by a low flying F-111 screaming over the Owyhee River in Eastern Oregon and by night mission "follow the terrain" B-52 over the San Juan River Canyon in SE Utah. ( I do a lot of rafting)
My Father had his lone red F-150 as a 'target" in a strafing run on Hwy 6 in Nevada by fast movers.
In each case, ******* spectacular !
Congress should mind it's own business, they have far bigger problems to solve.

I don't know that there is any higher quality -- it was shot in the mid-90s with consumer camcorders, probably on VHS or 8mm, and maybe not even in "Hi-8".

This is a video that is kept under pretty heavy wraps by the guys who were in the Reno ANG when it happened.

I have had a copy for quite a long time, but it was with the strict direction and understanding that I was not to distribute copies of it -- EVER.

So, I'm actually pretty surprised that this video has recently popped up on the internet.

Bottom line: my bet is that you won't find a high res copy of this that anyone will be willing to give to you. It's not exactly a proud moment that any of the guys who were there feel like showing off.

Again, ask Vandam about it -- he is a lot closer to it all than I am.

Re: High Rollers RF-4's rockin' the WORLD !!!

I have a question that is unrelated to the High Rollers video posted on this site. The reason it brings this question to me is the "questionable" flying. It is related to the crash of "Czar Five Two" at Fairchild AFB in 1994. Has anyone ever seen a photo of Lt.Col. Aurthur "Bud" Holland?

        Thanks,
        Steve

          That's insane, beautiful and insane.

I get the puckers just watching.
