FOUND THIS OVER THE WEEKEND IN A YARD

Found this in a yard in Northern California this past weekend...I first thought it was a ball turret to a B-17 or B-24...But the gearing / mount and seating/controls make it sitting upright instead of hanging...Maybe a nose turret to a Privateer?

JUST A GUESS HERE, BUT,I'M THINKING B-29.
ANY CHANCE YOU GOT THE NUMBERS OFF THE TAG AT
THE VERY TOP OF THE TURRET? VERY LIKELY IT WILL
HAVE SOMETHING TRACEABLE. IF NOTHING ELSE IT'S
NIFTY YARD ART.
