(Wayne, I wasn't sure where to put this post as I didn't see an air show category. Feel free to relocate as you see fit!)
Hello everyone!
I'm making a shameless plug for my brother's air show. He's the Airport Operations Specialist at Minden-Tahoe airport and they are having an aviation roundup and air show.
It's August 27-28 and will feature air show performers, seminars, fly-bys, vendors, static displays, military displays (he's working on getting a Raptor, but it's a work in progress), RC aircraft, educational displays, a kids zone, and lots of other stuff! Follow the link below for all the details. The site was just started today, however, so it's still a work in progress. I guess that means you'll have to check in often for updates!
The best part of the Minden-Tahoe Aviation Roundup is that all proceeds will go to benefit Amanda and Kyle Franklin! As many of you know, Amanda and Kyle were both injured in an accident during one of their wing-walking performances earlier this year. So please come and check out the show. If you feel so inclined, sign up to perform, set up a vendor booth, or just come and be part of the first of what will become a Douglas County, Nevada tradition.
