            Victor...

Looking forward to having some photography discussions with you. In the meantime, do what the doctors ask.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery my friend.

              Re: Victor Archer Heart Attack

If there ever was a humorous anecdote related to this subject:

My Dad went to Sansum Clinic because he was constantly tired and short of breath......diagnosis was one artery 97% blocked and another 75%. In those day the stint technology wasn't available, so they tried angioplasty. The first artery went smoothly, but the second kept collapsing after they would deflate the balloon. It finally stayed open and they took him to recovery, where he promptly went into cardiac arrest because that second artery collapsed again.......In steps the ace surgical bypass team and Dad is the proud owner of a world class double bypass. When we finally got to see him I will never forget the first words out of his mouth, "I haven't felt this good in years!" A little extra blood flow does wonders.

Good luck with your recovery Victor, I'm sure it will be swift.

              Kevin

Thank you everyone for your well wishes!
I'm back at home and doing better, going to take a little while before I get my strength back. I have a stint in one artery and I will have a stress test in about six weeks to see if I need one other fixed. A real surprise to me, a week before I ran a 5K and felt fine...
I won't make PRS but I plan on being at Reno in September!!!

Yea Victor!!!! So glad to see you back. I'll send you some bacon and pork rinds to help get your strength back. Seriously though, you are too young to be having these heart attack thingies. It must be your body adapting to our horrible human world. Or maybe it was Chino, that place always makes my heart race.

Again, glad to hear from you!

Victor, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you but I have seen your work and you are a great artist. Glad things are going to be fine. As for the rest of you jaybirds, like my friend Robert Shellabarger, let this be a lesson. Even if you can run a 5 k, go to your doc and get a complete physical, including a stress test and blood work. If nothing else, you will have a good set of baseline numbers for future reference. At Reno this year PropellerHead and I will come up with a stress test for you all. Maybe carrying a 40 lb camera bag from the church to the Sport hanger and back in 15 minutes. Any doctors out there?

                      Get well soon!

                      Chris
