Strega headed to Reno today

Was just informed Strega is headed to Reno today to do some IMAX filming the rest of this week. It doesn't sound like she'll be there for PRS next week though. There are hints to some changes on the airplane , so someone needs to go take pictures.

Actually, I think Tracy Hughes sort of issued a challenge to see who would/could post pictures FIRST. :-)

Someone was flying around last Thursday also. My "spotter" (wife) held the phone out the window for me to identify it by sound
Honestly could not tell a Cessna from a Bearcat over a cell phone but she said it sounded like a Mustang. Unfortunately all loud airplanes do to her!
Anyone know who THAT might have been? Someone here must have spotted it?

Mr.Steven Hinton and Strega have arrived. airplane and pilot
looking healthy. Imax people have already begun filming. Strega has
some new sponsors painted on, but didn't get a chance to see if
she had her new 2 piece cowl in place yet.
Next week, I hear-tell some 30 new rookies will be joining us in
various classes, for rookie school.
should be a joy since we all been trapped inside for months of
crappy weather.

An IMAX movie about air racing has been in production for a couple years now. I, for one, am really excited about it.
