Miss America actually first raced as Dave Allendar's #19 "Wayfarer's Club Lady" at the '66 Lancaster races. It was then sold to a guy...Bob Cleaver is the name that comes to mind, but I'm not sure that's correct...anyhow, he is the one who gave it the red, white, and blue paint scheme. I've seen photos of it like that but without the race number...looks kind of funny. Howie bought it from him in 1969, and that was when it was given the name "Miss America" and Race #11.
