PRE PRS FIELD REPORT 6-14-11

Hey pilots and race fans well me and the wife went over to the air field today saw mainly jets, AT 6, sports(saw a couple thunder mustangs one of them Parkers) and some F 1 s as far as unlimited though just the Bear and F7F kitty kitty all those mustangs from last week were gone they have been working on Bear looks like they have been doing engine run ups and systems checks so I imagine she will be going up this week oh and Sherm B and Big Jim no Precious Metal sighting as of yet hope she and new owner Thom Richards can make it to PRS well thats it for now other than some of the planes going up now and then doing formation flying thats been about it will keep every one posted.

I believe Ron always made it a two day trip. FL-TX, then TX to NV. With fuel stops in between of course. That has to be a miserable trip in that thing.

I can assure you both Thom and PM are based in Florida. You can see the flight plan on Flightaware just type in N6WJ.

I think John Penny has only flown it twice...from Eagles Nest to Mather then back to Eagles Nest. More to come...it has an extensive Flight test program ahead of it. Korey was project lead...I think... because I don't know his exact title. John was selected to run the test program.
