Help me identify a Piston.

Friend of mine has this piston and told me he believes it came from a Military Airplane. It's silver in color, approx 6 inches diameter with a dish in the top of it.

Can anyone tell me what they think this came from and it's potential ebay value?

They look like pistons out of a marine engine to me.
