If the rumor is true that Hoot will be racing 232 thats awesome, he always flew riff raff well, so it will be good to see him in a hot ride..
Also did anyone who checked out Ultipilots link notice 232 has the 'long wings' back on.....

I loved those short wings, they always seem to end up on the fastest Sea Fury. I would be Furias if they didn't make an appearance at Reno this year.

Maybe it's a retro fire bomber paint scheme. That would look pretty cool, polished aluminum with orange/red nose, tail, and wingtips. I always liked the looks of those!

I also notices the longer wings were back on S-Fury. I hope the clipped ones are put back on! She just looks so mean with those!

I would doubt the Thai AF ever operated Tigercats, but it would be a cool companion piece to the Thai Bearcat. A fun "What If" if you will. I would also like to see it in a fire-bomber scheme (maybe not with a hopper attachment). Fire-bombers should be represented via warbirds.

Hey speaking of air tankers you guys are missing the action here today, we have a couple fires going here in Nevada and Stead is busy, they have two Neptunes flying, a Firecat, and one or two of those single engine air tractors I think thats what they call them, and to top it off the Bear went up for a couple minutes today ha ha leave it to the Bear crew to put the bird up during fire operations Im lovin it!

Naaa, just a couple of hot R2800s and a pair of the best nose cases for the job. I'm not sure that shortening the already pretty short wings would do anything more than make it harder to fly. Clean it up, yeah I think some gains could be made, but shorter wings? They are already pretty short.

One in complete pre-WWII Navy colors would look great, especially for the 100th anniversary.

With the failure rate of 3350s these days, there is no way in hell I'd try that trick.
